Continuous Cast Cut-Off Machine

L-TEC has a complete line of steel mill slitting and cut-off machines. The machines depicted are a "standard" line of heavy duty cutting machines.

Slab cut-off machines for in-line flame cutting into slabs during continuous casting process. These heavy-duty machines are ideal compliments to scarfing machine installations.

The machine consists of a motor driven gantry which includes main frame, supported on four wheels. These rotate on shafts mounted in heavy duty tapered roller bearings. The gantry carries with it all oxygen, fuel gas, air and water piping and controls.

Cleaning Line

Electrolytic Cleaning section removes from the strip surface the remaining rolling emulsion and iron fines and dries the strip through several processes and is equipped with the special high-turbulence high-efficiency density (HTHE) electrolytic cleaning tank to enhance the strip cleaning.

The strip is brushed with the high efficiency - quick maintenance brushing units of the brush-to-brush type.
